Does your new computer have Windows 7?
Do you have problems running “older” software in Windows 7? Microsoft has a new
program that lets you run Windows XP as a “virtual machine” from within Windows 7
(you don’t need a Windows XP disk). See the link below to download it. You can also
download a program to check if your computer has the hardware (requires processors
capable of hardware-assisted virtualization) to run Windows Virtual PC.

Got questions? I can answer them!
HI Brett,
Thanks for sharing a post on XP Mode! It’s one of my favorite features in Windows 7 since I’ve had some issues with hardware and software compatibilities (doing music recording on my computer using some older hardware).
I truly love the way it expands Windows 7’s potential.
Hope you visit us @MSSpringboard or @CIOsConnect on twitter. We tweet official Windows 7 info and tips and tricks for IT Pros everyday.
