- Allow the battery to rest in the fully charged state for two hours or longer. You can use your computer during this time as long as the power adapter is plugged in.
- With the computer still on, disconnect the power adapter and continue to use your computer.
- When you see the low battery warning, save your work and close all applications. Keep your computer turned on until it goes to sleep.

VMware Fusion or Parallels?
You have a Mac, but need to run Windows because you have certain programs you have to use, but they’re Windows based. You can still run them on your Mac. You just need to purchase “Virtual Machine” software. Virtual Machines allow you to run Windows on a Mac. Which one you choose doesn’t matter. They both work basically the same. I prefer Fusion. But…I have Fusion on my Mac running Windows 7 (64 bit) with Office 2007 and…I have Parallels running Windows 7 (64 bit) with Office 2010.
Did you know you can do 95% of rmlsweb.com on your Mac (including Listing Load)?
Yep, it’s true. One major thing you can’t do is OREF Online forms. That why you should have Parallels or Fusion (see above).
Here are the steps. You can do it in Safari, but I think Firefox does it better. So…..
- Download and install Firefox
- Open Firefox, come back to this page and install “User Agent Switcher“
- Once 1 & 2 are done, open Firefox. Go to rmlsweb.com. In Firefox, click on “Tools”, “Default User Agent”, “Internet Explorer”, “Internet Explorer 8″

- Log into rmlsweb.com
- You have to do the above EVERY time you open Firefox and go into rmlsweb.com. It will not stay emulating Internet Explorer 8. If you minimize it, you don’t have to do this.
- If your unsure whether you are still “emulating” Internet Explorer 8, just click on “Tools” and look. It will either say “Internet Explorer 8″ (emulating) or “Default User Agent’ (not emulating)
